Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review, evaluate, and update the benefits that support you and your family throughout the year. This year's Open Enrollment is especially important, as it includes moving from Anthem to Cigna for medical and prescription coverage.
Open Enrollment takes place from October 26th – November 6th
To enroll, access the WealthCare Benefits Portal.
Please note: That you must complete your event and submit your enrollment by November 6th at 8:00 pm, ET. Print a copy or download your confirmation for your records.
Overview of What's Changing
Medical Coverage through Cigna
Effective January 1, your Medical Coverage will be administered by Cigna.
Your Medical Choices
The same 4 Medical Plan options you have today are available through Cigna:

Cigna Premier PPO

Cigna Choice PPO

Cigna Consumer Select PPO

Cigna Consumer Value PPO
If you do not make an active election during Open Enrollment, you and your covered dependents will be defaulted to the same plan that you have today.
Steps to Take During Open Enrollment

Review the Medical Plan Comparison Chart to get a side by side view of all four medical plan options

Take the time to verify your provider(s) participate in the Cigna network:
1. Search the Cigna Provider Directory*
2. Call the Cigna Pre-Enrollment Line at 888-806-5042
* When searching, select the Open Access Plus (OAP) network.

Enroll in the WealthCare Benefits Portal by November 6, 2026
Medical Deductible Changes

The Premier, Choice, and Consumer Select medical plan deductibles will increase.

Premier PPO Plan: $200 Individual | $600 Family
-
Choice PPO Plan: $500 Individual | $1,500 Family
-
Consumer Select PPO Plan: $1,750 Individual | $3,500 family

Consumer Value PPO Plan: No Change
Preventative Health Screening Enhancement

Certain recommended screenings and tests will no longer be subject to age restrictions when deemed medically appropriate by your healthcare provider
Prescription Drug Coverage through Cigna
Prescription drug coverage will continue to be included with your medical plan. During Open Enrollment, you'll enroll in medical coverage the same way you do today. The primary change is that, effective January 1, 2027, prescription drug benefits will transition from Anthem to Cigna, which will administer both your medical and prescription drug coverage.
90-Day Maintenance Medication Requirement
There is no change to the current maintenance medication program. Eligible maintenance medications must continue to be filled as a 90-day supply through an approved fulfillment option, such as:

Another participating pharmacy within the selected network

If You Take Maintenance Medications
Most maintenance medication prescriptions will transition to Cigna automatically; however, certain medications, including some controlled substances, may require additional action.
Beginning January 1, 2027:

Log in to myCigna.com or the myCigna app to confirm your prescriptions transferred successfully.

Review your available pharmacy and fulfillment options.

Contact Cigna if a medication does not appear or requires additional action.
